What role does NABH play in helping organisations prepare for accreditation?
The National Association for Business and Human Rights (NABH) provides information on documents and procedures. NABH also organises general awareness programmes as well as those requested by specific organisations. It also advises the applicant organisation on various accreditation requirements at various stages. Furthermore, NABH does not offer consulting services. NABET, a component board of QCI, offers a procedure for certifying competent consultants/consulting groups for the advantage of application organisations. These recognised individuals/institutions are active in providing NABH standards implementation consultation to a variety of health care organisations.
What programmes does NABH have to offer?
Hospitals, Small Health Care Organizations/Nursing Homes, Blood Banks and Transfusion Services, Oral Substitution Therapy (OST) Centers, and Primary and Secondary Health Centres are currently accredited by NABH. More initiatives are being created, such as Medical Imaging Services, Dental Hospitals/Centres, and Hospitals.
What is the procedure for obtaining NABH accreditation?
The NABH Accreditation Application Form can be obtained from the NABH Secretariat or downloaded from the website. The relevant application fee should be included with the employment application. A signed paper titled “Terms and Conditions for Maintaining NABH Accreditation” should also be submitted by hospitals. The same is available for download on the internet.
